Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for shopping with Purvanchal Sanesh. We take great care in preparing and packaging every order of our handcrafted Purvanchal snacks, especially Thekua, to ensure you receive the best quality and freshness. Since our products are perishable and made to order, we have specific guidelines for cancellations and refunds, as mentioned below.

1. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of placing the order by contacting us at support@purvanchalsanesh.com or via WhatsApp/phone.
  • Once the order has been processed or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
  • For prepaid orders cancelled within the eligible window, the refund will be initiated to the original mode of payment within 7–10 working days.

2. Returns

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns once the product has been delivered. All items are freshly prepared and perishable, making them unsuitable for resale or reuse.

3. Refund Eligibility

  • Refunds are only applicable under the following circumstances:
    • The product was delivered in a damaged or spoiled condition.
    • The product received is incorrect (wrong item sent).
    • The order was paid for but not delivered due to a courier or logistics error.
  • Refunds will be issued only after verification of the claim, including photo proof of the damaged or incorrect product.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment source within 7–10 business days after approval.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

  • If the customer provides an incorrect shipping address or contact details.
  • If the delivery is missed due to unavailability of the customer at the delivery location.
  • If the product is consumed, partially used, or tampered with after delivery.
  • For delays caused by courier partners, natural calamities, or situations beyond our control.

5. Damaged or Wrong Product Received

  • Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos of the product and packaging.
  • After verifying the issue, we may offer a replacement or refund as appropriate.

6. Mode of Refund

Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used for the transaction. For online payments, refunds are routed through Razorpay and credited back to your original source account within the standard processing time of 7–10 working days.
